Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Shari Teigman (“Shari,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of shariteigman.com and related products and services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase from us. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts and registration

Some Services require you to give us an email address or set up an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity under your account.

3. Purchases, pricing, and taxes

• Prices are shown on the relevant product page and may change at any time. The price you pay is the price displayed at checkout.
• You may be charged applicable taxes; these are calculated at checkout where required.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize the charge.

4. Refunds and cancellations

Each product or service has its own refund policy, shown at the point of purchase. Where no specific policy is shown, all sales are final. If you have a billing concern, email shari@shariteigman.com.

5. Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes are valid only for the products, audiences, and timeframes specified. They may not be combined with other offers, and may be revoked or modified at any time.

6. Digital products and access

When you buy a digital product or program, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use it for your own personal or professional development. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the materials, or use them to train AI systems.

7. Coaching and mentoring

Coaching and mentoring engagements are educational and motivational in nature. They are not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or guarantees of business results. You are responsible for your own decisions and outcomes.

8. Community and user conduct

When you participate in a community space we host (e.g. a workshop, group call, or community channel), you agree to:

• Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, and personal attacks are not allowed.
• Keep it confidential. What is shared in a private space stays in that space.
• Not record or screenshot calls or content without permission.
• Not use the community to spam, recruit, or sell.

We may remove content or members who violate these rules, with or without notice.

9. Intellectual property

All Site content, materials, courses, books, audio, video, and the “Maverick” family of marks are owned by Shari Teigman or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, create derivative works from, or use our content for AI training without our express written permission.

10. Your content

If you submit content to us (testimonials, comments, posts in a community), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You can ask us to stop using your testimonial at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, income, or business result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shari Teigman's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shari Teigman and our affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we consent to personal jurisdiction there.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. If changes are material, we will notify you. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.
