The What If Game

I have a little something for us to play.

A game where we suspend what you think you know for sure about life, love, business and even your little old self.

WHAT IF…..

What if you could step back to who you were 10 years ago? 20? Back to that tipping point when you started playing by the rules?

To when you wore whatever you wanted, blasted that music that made you dance no matter the mood, ate your favorite ice cream as it dripped from the cone down your arm, your mind filled with everyday wonder & adventure.

WHAT IF….

You chose that college major, that guy, that trip, that exit on the highway you still think about when the madness of ‘real life’ slows down even just a hair?

WHAT IF….

You started giving less attention and credence to what others around you declare you should BE and toy with those frivolous and juicy imaginary flashes of yourself in bright bold living walking off of the movie set into a new dream? Making exciting decisions, impactful declarations, scary but exhilarating choices about where your future will turn towards.

WHAT IF….

You saw yourself through your best friend’s eyes?

In the most gentle and beautiful light with all of your strengths highlighted and your challenges admired and respected.

Your blind spots softened and the fear buzz in your head and heart calmed and comforted.

WHAT IF….

You believed with every fiber of your being that you could actually achieve whatever you could conjure up in that pretty head?

If you saw every new step as a journey into a burst of playful excitement like a new page in a storybook.

No mountain too high, no minefield ahead too dangerous- all just new friends to be made, new chapters to write.

WHAT IF….

‘Failure’ meant growth, staying small meant boredom.

Every constriction turned into expansion, every gasp into a giggle.

Messy lead to courage and vulnerability equaled heroic bravery every damn day.

WHAT IF….

Your stories weaved a new patchwork to lay on the fresh grass to keep you dry and warm as you conjured up new ones that defied gravity and believability?

Your scars bloomed flowers and nurtured others with their beauty and valor?

WHAT IF…

None of it mattered anymore?

If you could lay down your self defense arms, unload the baggage and walk freely in whatever direction, coloring in the new lines as you go.

And

What

If

You could start today?

I DARE YOU.

Come in, the water’s fine. You are safe, seen, understood and loved.

JUST BEGIN TO BELIEVE. What have you got to lose?

xo,

S
